How they met & The proposal
Matt and I have been friends for a while. A co-worker of ours decided to try to hook us up, we went on a date….and here we are.
Matt proposed in our backyard while all our friends and family were over celebrating him earning his master's degree. I never saw it coming, we talked about it all the time and I thought it would be soon but on that day it never crossed my mind. Midway through the night Matt stood up and started telling everyone “thanks for coming”. He went on to tell everyone he would like to change the party to an engagement party and got on one knee. I still can’t believe I didn’t see it coming all day but I never did.
Best part of being engaged + Some advice
I told Matt we both have to answer:
Matt- I love that this is a commitment to love each other unconditionally. A commitment to live and experience life together.
Taylor- I love knowing I get to spend life with my best friend. We make the best team.
Don’t stress, I’m a firm believe that everything works out the way it’s suppose to. All the little details of the day aren’t what matters most anyway.
