Were you scared when you proposed?
That was the first question Tim asked me when he reached out to me planning this surprise engagement to his girlfriend, Chrissie. Answer? Ugh YEAH, It is a normal feeling. All of it, the heart pounding, the sweating, or "that feeling like you are gonna s*#t yourself!" All normal. You could see how nervous he was during the moments leading up to the big question. I don't doubt that he had some brown streaks. 💩
The Plan
Tim reached out to me with this idea months before the big day. It was simple. Set up a location for a family session. It was important for him to have the entire family there for when he popped the question. We needed a location, and I felt a tree farm would be a perfect place. We decided to have it at Seiple Farms in Bath, PA. The farm was very kind to have us. They are known for having a wonderful Tree Farm for the holiday season and a giant pumpkin patch during the fall.
D-Day Nov, 30 2019
The day finally arrived. Tim trusted Laurette and I to find the perfect spot for him to ask the big question. After we ventured into the trees to take a few family shots, Laurette gave him the "signal" which was her "fixing Chrissie's hair" and "fixing his shirt collar." When that happened, it was well... magic. I hope you enjoy their story. I cannot wait to be a groomsmen later this year at their wedding.
